The Marketing Class

a college classroom

In a marketing class at college, an A-plus student named Jake decided he would show-off his marketing skills to the rest of the class.

He turned to a very pretty girl named Emily, deciding he’d use her to prove his point.

Without warning, Jake turned Emily and pulled her into an unexpected embrace, his arms wrapping around her in a bold display of audacity.

Emily’s eyes widened in shock, her book tumbling to the floor as she struggled to comprehend the sudden invasion of her personal space.:

“What was that?” she exclaimed, her voice laced with a mixture of surprise and indignation.

Jake simply flashed her a self-assured smile, undeterred by her bewilderment:

“Direct marketing,” he proclaimed, his tone dripping with confidence.

For a moment, Emily was rendered speechless, her cheeks flushing with a blend of embarrassment and mounting anger.

Then, without warning, her hand whipped through the air, delivering a resounding slap onto Jake’s cheek that echoed through the hallway.

Jake recoiled, his hand instinctively clutching his stinging cheek as he regarded Emily with a mixture of disbelief and newfound respect.

“What was that?!” he demanded, his voice tinged with a hint of admiration.

Emily straightened her posture, her eyes blazing with defiance as she delivered her retort with surgical precision:

“That, Jake, was customer feedback.”
