Three women were having a baby shower for Edna when the discussion turned to the movie they were each watching when they conceived their children.
Mildred spoke up first:
“When I conceived my child, I was watching a film called The Search for One-eyed Jimmy. Sure enough, nine months later, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy…with just one eye!”
Gladys clapped her hands together, eager to share her own unusual tale.
“I remember it as clear as day – I had just seen the most darling film, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, and wouldn’t you know it, nine months later I gave birth to septuplets!”
Edna’s jaw dropped, her eyes darting back and forth between her two friends.
“Good heavens! That’s simply incredible. What a remarkable coincidence.”
Next, it was Edna’s turn, who was in fact pregnant right this moment.
“Oh my,” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. “Girls, I…I just realized something rather alarming.”
Mildred and Gladys leaned in, their amusement turning to curiosity.
“What is it, dear?” Gladys prompted gently.
Edna’s eyes were wide with trepidation as she spoke.
“You see, when I conceived, I was watching 101 Dalmatians…”
